Corvirtus Designs Innovative Assessment to Measure Pilot Professionalism

Forward 10, a company that designs, develops, markets and sells products and services that are targeted at reducing human error in high risk environments will soon be launching an innovative, unique assessment to accurately evaluate a person’s level of professionalism. The assessment, designed by Corvirtus consultants and which measures levels of professionalism of pilots in the aviation industry, is now part of a training platform created in response to Federal requirements for standards of professionalism for commercial and private pilots. 

Forward 10 provided the objectives and conceptual foundation for the assessment to Corvirtus. Our measurement consultants then created a self-appraisal tool of professional values and professional priorities. The final assessment report presents professional values and priorities, identifies gaps between the two and likely outcomes and suggests appropriate development activities – all focused upon strengthening pilot performance and reducing risk in the aviation industry.
