Shirley Kaplan, BS  Director of FinanceShirley Kaplan joined Corvirtus in 1995 as Controller. She now serves as Director of Finance and leads the accounting department, overseeing the processing of revenue, expenditures, departmental budgets, payroll and employee benefit programs, the general ledger, and account maintenance. Shirley coordinates the preparation of financial statements, reports, and special financial analysis.
Shirley earned her BS degree in business administration (with a concentration in accounting) from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Prior to joining Corvirtus, Shirley was a senior staff accountant at Russell Investments, located in Tacoma, Washington, a global asset management and investment firm. In addition, she was the finance/business manager for a number of medical clinics. Shirley resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is an active supporter of several local non-profit organizations including Care and Share, and the Pikes Peak Humane Society.
