David Hyatt, PhD  President and PartnerDr. David Hyatt, President and Partner, joined Corvirtus in 1998 as Director of Research and Measurement. He became President and Partner in 2006 and works closely with Corvirtus customers to align operations and marketing to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
David earned his BA in psychology from Allegheny College in 1984, his MA in psychology from The College of William and Mary in 1986, and his PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, he was Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where he was instrumental in developing the Masters of Industrial and Organizational Psychology program. Dr. Hyatt consulted extensively with organizations, and designed and implemented a team assessment and development tool for the Xerox Corporation. In 1994, David left academia to join NCS as Senior Survey Research Consultant, where he specialized in employee engagement research. Dr. Hyatt has presented at numerous conferences and has published in Personnel Psychology, The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, and Quirks: Marketing Research Review. He is involved in a variety of professional organizations, including the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Society.
