Bobby Baker

Bobby is responsible for the development and delivery of Corvirtus’ assessment products. He is also part of the management team developing partnerships and product distribution strategies to bring Corvirtus’ solutions to new markets. Specializing in individual and organizational assessment methodologies, Bobby is an expert in employee selection, organizational measurement and survey design. 

Bobby joined Corvirtus as a research analyst in  2001. Over the past decade, he has led customer engagements involving the development of custom hiring assessments, administration and analysis of organizational surveys, creation of individual development tools and a wide variety of customer research initiatives. 

Prior to joining Corvirtus, Bobby served as a measurement specialist for Intellinex, LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Ernst & Young) where he was responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. Previously,  Bobby worked in organizational development for Albemarle, a large specialty chemical manufacturer, where he was involved in leadership development and performance evaluation initiatives.

Bobby has presented at professional events hosted by the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, the Association of Test Publishers and the American Teleservices Association. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Personnel Psychology. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology.  

Bobby earned his PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Awarded LSU’s highly-selective Board of Regents’ Fellowship, Bobby conducted research on the effective delivery of customer service. Previously, Bobby studied psychology at Centenary College of Louisiana, where he graduated cum laude.

Bobby loves a variety of sports including golf, football, and softball. He is also active in a number of animal protection organizations such as the Pikes Peak Humane Society, the World Wildlife Fund, and ASPCA. Bobby lives in Colorado Springs and proudly shares its scenic beauty with his two English Bulldogs, Oliver and Tubby.
